What wax do you use on your Black Mustang?
I'm thinking of going with the Teflon paste wax but wanted to get opinions and see what everyone else was using on their black Mustangs.

I've used several...
EagleOne Nanowax: Great at getting rid of minor swirls, but doesn't last long. Great for pre-show detail
Maguire's NXT Liquid: Easy on, easy off. Decent depth of shine. OK at swirl marks. Last a bit longer than Nanowax.
Maguire's Gold Class Liquid: Great deep shine. Not sure on how long it will last, just applied last weekend. Swirl hiding so-so.
Turtle Wax Black Liquid: Good shine, great swirl hiding, lasts long.
I think my pre-show treatment from here on will be a coat of EagleOne to minimize the swirls, followed by a coat of Turtle Wax Black, and if it's a big show, maybe another coat of Maguire's Liquid Gold.

I use Meguiars Gold Class. I have also used NXT and just put on Griots Garage Paint Sealant (Its my daily driver in the winter). All give pretty good results. I like the Gold class the best.
I DO NOT recommend the Teflon wax. I tried it last year and thought the results were horrible. Put on and took off with ease and liked the finish. Then over the next couple weeks it started to look in parts as if I didnt wipe the wax at all. At first I thought it was my wax job but it did this on subsequent applications. Havent touched the stuff ever since.

+1 for Meguires NXT liquid.
I've been a long time user of Zaino until a few weeks ago. I put some on the car and had a tough time getting it to fully dry to the point where I could buff it. I waited about an hour and a half in garage. The hood and rear quarter panels had a haze after buffing. After i finished buffing it looked terrible. The more i buffed, the more it seems to spread the haze around. So i re-polished those pieces and it lonly looked worse. The next day I picked up Mequire's NXT from Target and redid the entire car. It looked great after that, I hope it is long lasting.

Best finish (especially on black):
Meguiars Show Car Glaze #7
Meguiars HighTech Yellow #26-one coat, wipe off let sit in garage over night, apply second coat in the morning
Meguiars Synthetic Sealant #20
Meguiars Final Inspection #34

i took his advice and used the #7 glaze and the high tech yellow #26 and it looked great on my black paint! I'll have to try that sealant and final inspection too..

you can also use the Meguiars Quick Detailer or NXT Speed Detailer in place of the Final Inspection I just think the Inspection works a little bit better, real easy application and great final shine

I use Zaino products pretty much exclusively (other than some vinyl/plastic dressings that I like). Even though my vehicles are yellow & red, I decided to try it because all of the guys on the Cobra maillist with black cars were drooling over it!
BTW, when used correctly Zaino is NOT expensive.

I use Menerza and P21S with a porter cable buffer. It's about the longest lasting combo I've ever used. NXT is a great product, but I've found that the durability of the product sucks.
