Swirl marks

Just picked up my new black GT today and there were several patches of swirl marks like it was hit with a buffer during dealer prep...any advice on the best way to remove these?

Thanks!

I see you have the hood I want.
Any install problems? How was the quality? How much prep?

You can clay bar until your arm gets numb, but it won't remove swirl marks. To remove swirls, you will need to compound the car with a cutting pad then polish and wax.

I'd definitely try something mild before cutting down the clear coat. Meguiars scratch X might even work...

1st although its to late! never let a dealer prep your car! There are a lot of good after market clear coat polishing compounds, with a lot of elbow grease and a couple days you might be able to remove most of the swirl!... .....maybe! Welcome to the world of owning a Black GT
