stripes go amazing on this car. after seeing Mike's and Peter's stangs, every mustang must have the stripes. without stripes they look like they are missing something

 

I would have to agree, that looks really great. The GT300 is a nice touch, and I like the Bullitt rims. Sweet ride.

There's just something not right about the side stripes.Maybe the fact that there so close to the side indent of the mustang,makes them look like there crooked? I think they would look better about a inch or two just about the lower side panel rocker panel.That might take away the optical illusion of them not being straight...

The stripes are awesome! I like how you went with a color that makes the whole thing look low-contrast...it's subtle and not so in-your-face that way. Classy.

Are there any other care instructions one needs to know about - washing, peeling...anything?

I definitely think you need some 18" wheels and wider tires tho, bro. Maybe some 18" bullitts...?

I am finally glad to see someone with a Black GT that they are not complaining about it being black. Your car looks great and mine should be here in Dec. I am going with the white stripes though. So I have to ask. Now that you have had it a couple of days and are dealing with the cleaning process, do you regret getting black?

 

Here is a picture of the Silver GT with white stripes that was at the Ford Dealership. It was done by the same company that did Mike's Black GT. Sorry for repost of the picture, but maybe some people have not seen this one.

 

I'd have to say that black w/ silver striping is the best looking color combo I've seen on a stang. Good form, Peter.

Orthoguy, some crazy questions for you. What are the sizes of the stripes on the side (ie: 1/4" for the small ones and 2" for the center?). Also, did he remove the third brake light and GT badge when he did the trunk lid?

That ride looks sweet. I am going with white on my Sonic Blue but I am starting to think I should have gone with Silver.

 

Your car is absolutely beautiful! That's a great stripe job and the color fits perfect.
