Well, I'm ordering a 2007 GT, and it will be my second Mustang. My first one was a black 85 GT, and darn, was it sexy.
I want to get my 07 in black, I just dont want swirl marks, and paint chips, sooo....
Does buffing make swirl marks? And does the spray and go/whipe wax work well?
Who makes a clear bra for the front end of our cars? And is it worth it?

no expert here but after having so many black cars and this is covered in detail somewhere here..... i never use spray and wipe only "mequires clear coat safe cleaner wax" and i only hand wax. no buffers to my car ever.

So, using a cloth towel to take off the wax wont cause swirl marks?

I try to use old hanes white cotton tee shirts for waxing. I have a lot of them. so when one gets old i put it aside for waxing. I use them to apply the wax too. I don't think any cloth towel that I have is good for a black car.. i haven't been able to wax my 06 but here is the 05 i had after a wax with soft cotton tee shirts.....
anyone else got any good ideas?
