This is to the Black mustang owners with silver stripes im highly considering buying silver stripes but do you guys regret the stripes. I have never seen one in person only through pictures. The all black makes it look mean but is the stripes worth the money? do you feel that people give you more compliments?

We had a black GT that our body shop painted metallic silver stripes from fron to back. It was absolutely beautiful.

I have a black GT vert coming shortly that I am planning on striping with competition orange; a one of a kind.

 

I was wondering the same thing can you give me a link to look at the black with silver stripes (I have a Black GT Conv.)

 

Every picture that ive seen of a black stang with silver stripes looked awesome. I doubt u would regret it. i saw the color combination on a car before and it definatly made it look great

 

I saw a Black V-6 with silver stripes when picking up hubby's white Gt. I think they are 8" stripes.

I saw one (sorry, no pics) with painted stripes all the way from the bottom of the front bumper to the bottom of the rear bumper and it looked great.

My 2002 GT had black with silver stripes and I got sooo many looks and stares . . . the guy that has it now says ppl stop him all the tym and ask him who did it . . . check my avitar <---------- thats wat it looked like (:

 

dont have the le mans stripes but I do have the silver side stripe which I am very happy about. Really does give it a different appearance but thats just my opinion

and I believe it was worth the money and yes we get ALOT of compliments around town
but you will get that any way with or without the stripes IMO

 

I've been really happy with my silver stripes. Here are a few pictures. I wish they were wider and closer together. The dealer owes me new stripes because these are starting to peel about 1/4" in from the corners. I will probably go with 10" stripes with 1" between.

 

I think the silver stripes look great on black. And I think the black Mustang is the only one that looks really good with those side stripes.

 

i havent done it, but i woudl regret black w/ silver stripes (raiders colaz!!!!)

lol, do what you want. they dont look to bad (aside from being Raiders colors )

i have yet to see an 05 with stirpes that doesnt look good

although, personally i would put gold stripes on black, like the Hertz cars..

 

I dont feel to bad about the black and silver because living in Florida I am a Buccaneer fan so we kinda own those colors via superbowl

i think "grey" stripes are ugly on black

 

I went and talked to the striper today. I decided on Metallic Gunmetal Grey. It's kind of a dark silver. I think the subtle contrast would look good on black. I saw a Silver with White stripes and liked the look. I'm going with a 15" stripe down the center, a 3/4" gap then a 1" on both sides.
