2005-2009 S-197 Gen 1 FORD MUSTANG Black Picture Gallery!
Looks great Leo. What tanks are those under the hood. I see the coolant tanks replaced, is that Canton or Moroso? And the other tank on the driver's side behind the radiator, what's that one for, is it a relocated tank? Just curious man, I'm considering some under hood dress-up in the future, now that the exterior and interior are about done.

They're both canton tanks. One replaces the coolant tank and the other replaces the power steering tank. IMO get the Moroso coolant tank as it's like the OEM tank and doesn't require a overflow hose. Plus you can use your stock cap or the MGW cap. I went with the Canton stuff because I got them both in the for sale section for a good price.

You guys have some SWEET Stangs!
Mine's not as fancy as many of yours, but I'm just getting started...
Bought this '05 V6 in June '08 & so far have added CAI, GT Muffler, VMP 93 Perf Tune, Hurst Competition/Plus, and GT Take-Off Grille, front Bumper & Charcoal leather upolstery. I'm running Royal Purple 5w-30w oil, 93 octane & Motorcraft Platinum plugs.
My "to-do" list: Trac-Loc with 3.73 gears, Aluminum driveshaft, Staggered 10.5 x 9 18" black chrome wheels, Flush-mount 1/4 window louvers, CDC Classic chin spoiler, Eibach handling kit, Fully-functional Shaker Hood Intake, Fresh BLACK paint with Shelby-style silver stripes...it's a journey, not a destination!

Dave you change stangs more often than I change my underwear.
Don't know why you tried to switch to a non black colored stang. You know what they say once you go black you never go back.

I may have some others from a couple days ago, but haven't gotten them from the person's camera yet. Here's a couple I took today.
Just for those who don't know all that's been done body wise to the car:
Foose hood/rocker panel/rear spoiler; Shelby CS6 front fascia; GT/CS rear fascia; Agent 47 mirrors; SHR rear medallion/Gas door; Konig Beyond wheels; Nitto Redline Tires; Painted/Powder coat brake calipers; Drilled Rotors; CDC Billet Grille; Shorty Antenna; Blackout turnsignal and reflectors; Chrome taillight trim; FRPP suspension
My goal when I put my car together was to have a theme of a 65 - 66 Fastback that I fell in love with as a kid. I know that the hood and mirrors lend themselves to 69+, but you have to look at the overall theme and work with what's best. This hood flows with the Agent 47 mirrors and seems to complete the theme better than the Trufiber GTS2 I use to have.
-danny
Just finished up some changes
Here's some from the other day....new Shelby Front, New Hood, Changed to a Pony Spoiler, took the GT emblems off.
Probably add some painted mirror covers and be done with the outside....
Got the Whipple on now...may play with some Cam Ideas and/or LTH's...
