I know I'm as indecisive as they come, but I'm just not satisfied with the finish on the FR500s. What wheels do you like for PSH?
The first wheels are the Anthracites that are on there now. The second are powdercoated black, the third are painted Tungsten, and the fourth are the Halibrand Cobra IIIs.

I thought the FR500s were too small as it was (modern style wheels on a modern car should be larger IMHO). I also happen to like the lip and detail of the Halibrands, so they get my vote.

I think they are all too dark. I like the FR500 wheels but in a machined finish so they stand out. Everything on the project car is dark grey even the tint on the fog lights. Even the Halibrands do not stand out enough.
Just my $.02

I have to say I was not very fond of the FR500 wheels until I saw them on your car. I found them very attractive and I'm now considering them for my MG when the time comes for replacement.

Sorry but I actually like the fanblades better than the 500s..... I was REALLY hoping you would go with the deep dish bullitts but I know you had the problems getting them.....
And as far as indecisive goes, don't sweat it. I labored for months over what to get - finally pulled the trigger on 18 by 9 Millie Miglias with BFG rubber..... got them on the car and knew within a DAY that it just wasn't 100% what I wanted......
Once I got my current wheels, all was right....
You'll get there and be a happy camper.

I like the Hali's best but I don't think they cut it either. I think you need something in a polished or chrome. I know chrome may be a bit blingy but the anthricite and powdered coated wheels make your car look kind of dirty all the time.
Of course what the heck do I know. I've been trying to make up my mind on wheels for 13 months. lol.

I agree!!! Brad, you need to lighten something up on the car. Not TOO bling bling at all but something lighter would help. How about these or something similiar?
Mesh Style 18 x 9 Wheels for '05 Mustang
576-AR18R22SML Mesh Wheels for '05 Mustang $249.95
These silver wheels for the '05 Mustang add a tough, competition look with the rivet detail along the machined lip. Manufactured using BBS technology, these one-piece, silver wheels add a modular look to your new Mustang! Size: 18 x 9
You can get these from Steeda. I'm sure with your connections they will give you a better price. I really think they would blend well with the color. Not get lost or over power it. These would have been my choice if I went w/ Tungsten. Simple, sharp and clean looking.

Did this up real fast just to get an idea and see what they might look like installed. Wheels are a little darker in centers than they look in the photo.

I'm glad you said something, Brad. I think the current wheels blend too much with the color of the car and they get lost.
The Halibrands are too "flat" IMO. (the depth, not the color)

Yeah. I am thinking maybe the CS67 wheels in anthracite or maybe the CS56 wheels. Not sure how the CS56 wheels would look on the car though as I have not seen a good picture of those.
I don't like the halibrand wheels much, I think it is the bright outline around the spokes that spoils me on the rim for some reason.

I've already expressed my desire for the Hallibrands...I think they look awesome. I agree with some others who have commented that PSH seems a tad dark all around and the extra bright finish on the Halibrands around the spokes I think would be an improvement but you might also consider the Raceline version of the wheel that is fully finished rather than having the gray accents...but it does ride the edge of too flashy when you go there...it's a toughie!
