SVP Unlimited has removed the dash for a proper and clean installation of the MRT gauge pod and Auto Meter gauges.

Looks like an opportunity to install some thermal/sound insulator pads against the firewall. You'll probably never have the chance again.

Quick, route some heating ducts to the floor board.

How much pain have you gone thru watching your car be taken apart?

Thankfully I really haven't seen any of it. I think this photo is the only photo I've seen in which the car was in any way disassembled.

Oh I've got other pictures to torture you with Brad

I think the only thing interior wise we have not had apart is the door panels, front seats and carpet. If I find a buildsheet Brad I'll save it for you to frame .

Wow. That's cool to see the inner workings of things. I can't help but notice the size difference in the cross beam on the driver's side vs the passenger's side.

Paul, we'll get a chance to pull the rest out when we do the stereo.

This would be a good opportunity to "hide" something in there, that can be found 20 years down the road.

Just make sure it's not a fish or something.

I could write a letter, like it's a time capsule or something.

So, 20 years from now, someone will be doing a restore ... wonder what they'll find?

Put some recent pictures of the car in an envelope, seal it in a zip-lock baggy, wrap it in tape, then tape it to the firewall with writing that says: "In case of restoration, open".

Then that kid that gets a deal on a 30 year old "junker" in the yard has a blueprint of what it should and used to look like.

I was thinking about sticking an "SVO" nameplate on the crash beam....years from now someone will post "I've got an '05 SVO Mustang!"

I'll just be happy to get her back without a full '86 SVO IP.

Leftover screws just means that you put it back together more efficiently than Ford did

Now THERE is an idea....retrofit an '86 Mustang SVO interior into the '06!!!! Then we already have a boost gauge in the dash! Ofcourse the my color option will no longer work

And here's your chance to eliminate those pesky under dash rattles and squeaks.
