Finding wheels for this car has been an adventure.

She came with the 18" Fanblades, which I never did care for. I liked the design, just not the finish. Before I bought PSH, I had planned on waiting until December 2005 to place my order for a Tungsten GT Convertible with 18" Bullitts and Dark IUP, but decided to buy one off the lot at Town & Country Ford because of the rockin' deal they got me. As it turns out, I'm not a fan of the finish on the 18" Bullitts either, and Dark IUP doesn't go well with Dark Charcoal interior.

I requested Mustang Tuning's 18" Deep Dish Bullitts and loved 'em, but they wouldn't fit around our enormous Baer brakes.

I had always wanted a set of anthracite FR500s for my True Blue '01 GT Convertible, so when I saw that Mustang Tuning offered them, I jumped on them. They fit around those monstrous brakes, but the anthracite finish looked brown to me against the Tungsten paint. On any other color car, I think they'd look great.

I decided to try a wheel with a more vintage Mustang look, so I got some black 18" Carroll Shelby CS66s from ClevParts.com, and they look great. I get tons of compliments on these wheels, even though I put the wrong front tires on them with too little sidewall. Unfortunately, these won't fit around the brakes and will be sent back to 05stangkc.

Another great vintage wheel is the Halibrand Cobra III, which, like the CS66s, won't fit the brakes.

I found out today that PSH's 6th set of wheels ships out next week, and they should have no problem fitting large brakes.

These are the 18x9" Ford GT front wheels from Ford Racing.

Here they are on Tungsten:

Did the deep dish not fit because they were the deep dish ones. What about the non deep dish ones from them?

Do these companies give you the products so that they can be showcased here or do you pay like cost or something? Might be worth starting a website

The products are an advertising expense for the companies that send them, so I will be doing my best to showcase these products on the site and at Mustang shows.

Brad, I told you should have gone with a brighter wheel. They look similar to the one's I recommended from Steeda. They will flow very well with the car's color and your mod's. I wish I could take credit for your choice. jk...

I personally think the shinier wheels will look best on your car. The ones you have pictured are beautiful!!

I like the GT wheels better than the others.

Man, those calipers are huge!

You can send me the CS wheels that you weren't happy with. I'll glad showcase them for Kevin!

I still think black bullits with a chrome lip would look the best on the PSH. Have you tried those yet?

I think they'd be too dark. I thought about black FR500s.

Excellent Choice

I think that they will look great on the PSH!

Keep me in mind when you find the 7th set

I could see these as the final wheels, enjoy.
