Paul "svopaul" Becker of Special Vehicle Productions has begun priming the Chip Foose hood for installation on October 16. Paul will also be installing the CDC Shaker and Legend Chin Spoiler.

I've been waiting to see the CDC shaker + Foose hood combo on a car other than that on CDC's website. I'm sure it's going to look great!

One question for Brad: how do you plan to adapt the CDC shaker to the Vortech air intake?

Since the hood is so new, I haven't seen it on many cars at all, and I don't think I've seen the combo on a car that doesn't have some hood paint or decal. I'm going to leave PSH's hood all Tungsten--no paint or decals to distract from the lines of the hood.

It's going to take a little fabrication, but I've seen SVPU's work and I know it won't be a problem. The upper air tube that comes attached to the Shaker can be used, but we'll have to fabricate some ducting to extend from the Shaker's ducting to the blower's filter.

Could the Foose hood cause an air flow problem into the shaker?

It's not at the moment. SVPU is backed up right now, so PSH is getting pushed back a week or two. The new Steeda GT500 shifter shipped yesterday and I'm going to get the transmission next weekend.
