I can't decide on the grille for PSH. I know I don't like how big the fogs are in stock form, so I either want to tone them down or remove them altogether. I do not want to give up having a pony of some kind in the grille, and I hate billet grilles. I like the '06 V6 Pony grille, but not for this project.

CDC has said that they can send their GT Billet Grille without polishing the bars, so they'd just be black. I believe Cervinis could do the same. MRT's Interceptor has a chrome insert for the debossed pony.

What do you think?

The cervinis with black bars would look awesome I believe, especially haveing the tri-bar on the side like that.

Hmmmmm . . . what about a grill (that would require a little fabrication) that encompasses the V6 fog lights but with the Mustang not corralled embedded in the CNC grill?

Or would that be too much work? It certainly would be one of a kind.

There are so many people that will have these grilles out there. I think you should try to think of something different. Just my idea.

I know that this part only works with the GT500cobra front bumper but have you ever thought of doing something like what was on the GT-R concept cars headlights? with the thin panel running through the headlight somewhat remenicent of the 1970's mustangs. Just a thought - I think it looks real neat. It would be a lot of work of course but very unique. (plus it would look amazing with the tungsten grey)

It probably wouldn't work but...

I would wait for SEMA first. If you don't find what you want then you can go with one of the choices above or maybe get one fabricated. You could have one made with the TMS mustang outline in the grill or something. That said, I picked the smoked overlays as I still love having the grill lights up there.

Dont' see much difference between the CDC and Cervini's grill, but I like that look the best (probably the Cervini will look cleaner around the pony emblem and will give you the most options for mounting the pony).

But, I would also wait for SEMA, just in case.

On the other hand, have you thought of doing a custom grill with the V6 pony package fogs?

Something like:

or

Just an idea to do something unique.

Stock man. Or possibly a billet grill with the fogs behind the grill.

I haven't seen any aftermarket grills out that I really like. If you feel the same way, just wait. Don't get one you don't love just to have a different grill. Something will come along.

IMO, the stock fogs really make the front end what it is. I'll leave mine alone. If I had to choose one, I would go with the smoke or even less tint. Some of the other colors available are just plain ugly. But that's what aftermarket is for - people want to be different.
