Despite stiff competition from 13 other 2005-2006 Mustangs including Roushes, Saleen S281-SCs, and other highly modified Mustangs, PSH came away with 1st Place in the popular vote 2005-2006 Mustang class at this past weekend's Rocket City Mustang Show in my hometown of Huntsville, Alabama.

I wonder if the $50K in free Schnizzle had anything to do with it...

Honestly, I would be disappointed if it were my car and lost to anything other than a complete custom vehicle creation...

 

The only difference in the way the car is now than it was in Pensacola is the brakes, and I didn't place in the top 4 at that show. I've seen a lot of cars with a lot of rediculous modifications that I wouldn't vote for; Popular Vote is always a difficult class.

One of my car show pet peeves. Tacky shiny stuff seems to garner more votes than tasteful/functional mods.

 

I agree. That is why I generally prefer dead stock vehicles over modified ones--most people just don't know when to quit with the mods. PSH is one sweet exception. Brad gets my vote for Best of Show .
