Kevin,

Any idea how much the "lip" on the shifter boot hangs over the opening? I have a shift beleze from UPR that i had to drill holes into the console to fit it and well I'm not 100% happy with it and would love to replace it with this.

 

I will be Installing one on My Gt/CS in Approx Two Weeks. 8" x 4 7/8" It what it Measures out At.

 

Does anyone know if the 07 hood scoop will fit an 06 hood? Also, does anyone know how much work it will be to install the 07 side scoops. I hear that they will be like the ones on the Mach 1s, with the plastic mesh in the opening, as opposed to some of the stick on aftermarket scoops that have a sticker to simulate the mesh opening. I am guessing that the 07 scoops will be bolt on? That is why I am asking.....
Has anyone installed either the hood or side scoops from the 07 on an 05 or 06? Thanks....

GT98, I don't know.. at first I really wanted the 2007 Ford Bezel to replace my UPR one.. but I'm starting to like my UPR one now. The UPR one looks beefier. I tried to take some apples-to-apples comparison pictures to really show the difference. See attached. Plus, like me, you already spent $85 on the UPR bezel, and now you'd have to pay another $200 on the Ford one.

BTW, I did two things to the UPR bezel to change the appearance/install:
1) I used steel wool to make the bezel less shinny and less susceptible to finger prints. I sanded in straight lines along the long edges, then taped off the corners and went side ways on the short edges. After removing the tape you get a 4-piece look. You can see it in the attached pic.
2) I hack sawed all the heads off the bolts and glued them into the sockets. Then I double sided taped the bezel into place (using really fat tape to fill in the gap between the top of the leather boot and the underside of the bezel). This way I didn't have to drill into the boot and it still looks like it's bolted into place.

 

Yes, the scoop will fit on the '05 and '06 Mustangs... it's the same hood.

As you can see by the pictures posted above, the side scoops have the plastic inserts. Not decals.

What I really Like about the Scoop on My GT/CS is the View from Inside. It just looks Tuff! Makes you think you got some Ponies under the Hood! Can't Explain it but sit in a car with a scoop and Take a Look!

I have the CS/GT-350-H side scoops installed on mine. My Body & fender Man didn't use the pins included. He just used the 3-M tape. I wasn't too cool on drilling huge holes in the rear quarter panels for non functioning scoops. They seem to be working out quite well; as the car has been high pressure washed a few times with no problems. It gives the ride a whole new attitude. I also was one of the "lucky people" that ordered mine before the huge increase.
As I have mentioned in my 1st. post in another thread, I need a little help learning to up load a few pictures...Future additions include the hood pin and radiator cover from Shelby; and also a hood scoop with the operational turn signals.

 

can this be used on the automatic shift?

Are the CS side scoops in stock yet?

 

I expect them to Release in 7 to 10 Days. Ford Pricing Has Yo-yoed on these since initial release. I will update Pricing as soon as the Arrive on my hotsheets.
