Uhhhh, doesn't the '07+ cars come with mp3 player capability already?
I guess I misunderstood what that aux jack would do for me, huh.
I guess the difference is this gizmo will let me stash the ipod on continous charging and use the radio dials, right? I guess I'll have to sign up for this one, my car has a build week of Jan 15th, woo hoo !

WTF??!!!! I waited all this time for this to come out and this is what they do, make it for 2007 models that ALREADY have Ipod connections built in!!! I am P***ed like no tomorrow about this. I wanted to get this wired up, use the second power outlet in the console for my phone, and finally wire up a starter button. But if I can't use this in my car, I have to stay with the DLO Microdock plugged into the dash. What was Ford thinking. They could have made a MINT with this for all cars but they F'ed it up, just like the last Trip Tunes.

I geuss we could probally buy the Ford Navi unit and then use this, but then youll probally still be more expensive than another manufacturer.

Frickin no good options. I geuss I'm gonna haveto buy a new iTrip or PIE adaptor.

Be careful what you ask for. I have the Honda iPod interface in my Civic and I've never had a good thing to say about it. It has 3rd party software that takes over .5 hr when after the normal iTunes sync that builds a vocal index that takes for ever to scan.

In use it is even worse. When I have more time I can whine at length, but I'd rather just move on (minus my $300 ).

Are there no news about Triptunes Advanced? Does it fit with the 2006 Shaker 500?
Greetings
Jo

UPDATE!
As Per Ford Accessories the Trip Tunes Advanced Shows to Fit 2007 Mustang PERIOD. As Per Ford Engineering it Fits 2007 With a Build Date of Dec 04 2006 Job 2 . I sent this Info to Ford Accessories For Update and or Calrification. At this Time I will have to Believe Ford Engineering. BTW It is {Not} For NAV Radios.

Hello. 1st post but been reading the board for a few months now. Just took delivery of my new 'Stang yesterday (ordered it on Jan 4th).

Was wondering if anyone's got the TripTunes Advanced installed yet and what their opinion of it is. Is it worth the $300 price tag?

Can you use the Ipod's shuffle mode? How fast (or slow) is it when toggling through the iPod menus?

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Joey

Has anyone installed TripTunes Advanced? Your review please.

BUMP!

Anyone? Don't want to purchase one of these with out getting some feedback from someone who might have one installed. Searched the web and can't find any user reviews. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Dont get way too ****ed jeff, i HAVE an 07 and still cant use it.

now is that because of the radio? or is it because of the wiring harness as well. and why is it using an RJ-11 jack?
