Shelby GT fender badges "powererd by ford"

What does it take to order a set of these, I have a friend who owns a real 07' Shelby GT, can he order me a set? Or can I "borrow" his information, like his registation card showing the shelby gt VIN and take that to the dealer? Kevin, have you checked the price on these?
Thanks

So it's come this. Amazing how popular a $2 piece of plastic has become. Don't recommend you "borrow" his information. Especially since the President of Shelby Autos reads these threads.

Chrome plated plastic and some emblems from Ford are known to peel and flake, haven't heard of this on the SGT yet buy you never know.

Yes, It has come to this, I missed out on that three day sale the one where you bought 2 sets yourself. Bet your all about the popularity with a 500+% profit going on these things,
And what is the President of Shelby Autos gonna do "foil" my plan?

Hey There,

I would LOVE to have a set of these for my '03 Mach1. But, there is NO way I am gonna shell out that kind of money for badges. I found a set of these on eBay and at the time they were $300 each (if I remember right). My understanding is that they are no longer available (which doesnt make sense since the cars are still being built).

If anyone finds a set at a reasonable price - please post something.

Page, the ones that were sold to public before, were done so inadvertently. The agreement between the supplier and SAI is that they are only available for installation on the cars i.e. they won't be made available to the public. Hopefully that policy will change soon so that everyone that's wants them can get them at a reasonable price.
I had put my 1st pair on ebay and stopped the bidding after only 1 day (originally had them for sale for 7 day auction). It just was insane how much people were willing to pay.

Thanks for the update. That explains things The ones that are on the Shelby are different than the other "Powered by Ford" ones you see around (found a set on eBay today). Hopefully the policy changes.

Thanks again
