Here's maybe a stupid question: is the GT/CS rear fascia a full-replacement bumper or just a "lip" like the Street Scene one?

 

How much for the bumper Kevin ?

 

It is a Complete Rear Bumper Assembly. The Lower Center Sections are already painted matte black. For Pricing Request My Hotsheets. They are on the Simplfied Retro Sheet. Ez Deal!

How much prep does the bumper take for paint?

 

Kevin, I thought the matte black also wrapped around the sides on the lower section????

 

Kevin, have been wanting to put the GT/CS front and rear on my car for awhile but I havent found a decent painter in my area. Is it possible to paint the part and ship? Color match shouldnt be to hard especially for a stock color. Maybe just the rear since its smaller than the front bumper?

Kev I'd be interested in this to. I figure you could score a could deal with the body shops your dealership uses. I think more people would buy if they came prepainted because it takes the hassle out of finding a good body shop and a fair price.

I just got off the phone with Kevin and he said because the item is dropshipped from ford this is not possible. Additionally it would be to much of a pain to package it well enough to prevent damage.

 

A HOT MOVER! DO NOT BE SURPRIZED IF FORD RAISES THE PRICE ON THESE IN THE FUTURE! FYI!

K/C, those of us who have already placed orders from you, will be be threatened by a price increase? (you did not charge me yet) as we are awaiting the backorder on the front shelby bumper cover. Or since we already ordered we are good on the price originally stated? I know you are only refering to the future, because it is a hot ticket, but i am wondering how much longer before Ford gets the Fronts in........

 

Are the Splash Shields necessary?

 

K/C had told me they were optional..... very small.

When you Purchase a Cover the Black Section Shown is already painted. This is GT/CS Style. A Shelby has Black all around the Bottom and if that is the Look you Want you will have to Paint the rest of the lower section for that look!

SHELBY AND GT/CS Rear Complete Bumper are both the SAME
