IUP DOOR SILL PLATE
Ok... so this is as easy as it sounds?
You just pull the old plate off (the whole thing) and then push down on the new plate to pop it into place (presumably with the clips on the new one)?
What are the adhesive strips for?
(btw -- one of mine is backordered. That's right - they got in one side and not the other for some reason)

It is that easy.... Once you pull the old one off you'll be able to see. When I pulled off the original one on mine the adhesive part was not even stuck down.
You just pull the red backing strip off and line up the clips and push until it snaps into place. I made sure I pressed a little harder where the tape is to make sure it stuck.
and I only received my drivers side also....the pass. is coming the second week of Feb.

Got mine in today. They both look the same. I see no difference between the right and left one. They are different part numbers so I assume they are different but it looks as if I could have bought two of the cheaper ones and it would have worked fine.

That looks like a great upgrade idea, but I'm alittle confused - I thought those came with the full IUP? Or am I just completly out of it today?

I bought my GT on the same day. Or should I say I gave birth to my baby
Definately need the metal door sills. Sorry to any non metallic owners, but I really don't like them.

This is a great mod! I bought them from my local Ford dealer (I had a discount coupon) and they went on super easy. They also look great with the IUP lite I have. Definately a cheap, easy mod with big payoff in the looks department!

Thanks Kevin! I got my new door sills in today and installed them.
I'm not exactly sure of what the total cost is that you charged me because you didn't include a packing slip, but that's cool. I'll just wait until it shows up on my credit card bill.
