Here are some before and After shots of the IUP door sill upgrade. The right one cost a lot less then the left for whatever reason but it should be less than $25.00 out the door for the pair! Get these before FORD raises the Price on these. And you can bet your behind they will! Install is simply grabbing the old sill on the carpet side and lifting up with both hands. Then simply clean the metal sill with a rag. There are two adhesive strips on the new sill plate, pull off the red tape on snap into place. Done Deal!

You can't just get the silver Mustang plate not the entire door sill?

Not a bad idea to get the entire assembly (including the clips)....I've had mine off already and those clips are a nightmare to get back on if the come out...

Thanks 05stangkc
I will be picking up my IUP sill plates (only one side came in-the other is back ordered), shifter handle and steering wheel tomorrow from my dealer. I really appreciate the part numbers and "how-to" pics.

I enjoy doing it when it is appreciated! I will have my wheel installed at the dealership, AIRBAGS make me Nervous! By the way get the Shear Bolts for the steering wheel, The shop manual says you replace them every time the wheel is removed! The Parts catalog does not tell you this!
