Here is the 2005 Ford Mustang Racing Strut Brace. I Finally recieved a couple after a very long order time. I took a picture of the box to show you how beat up it was. The Braces are shipped loose in the box so it's a miracle they are Not scratched up! I will be Calling my supplier to ask if they can Pack them with a little more Padding!. So be aware if you order one they may be a Tad Road weary. I like it and will probably try to stock some. I look forward to any Comments. I do not think it will fit with some Superchargers but time will tell! Anyway Enjoy!

Very similar to the Steeda and I would have to say that the Steeda looks to be beefier!

Question regarding the strut tower brace. I recall reading somewhere that most, if not all, of the available strut tower braces made were for GT's and not V-6's. Is there any truth to this?

I checked The Catalog and it Says 2005 Mustang Not Just Gt. But Since I know how Ford works I called the Tech Hotline and They said it fits GT Only. So then I had to see for Myself and guess what. The v6 Upper Intake hits the bar. I will email Ford Racing and hopefully they will update the Catalog! AYE CARUMBA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kevin, it looks like the plate in the center could be replaced, is that screwed in or riveted? That could be fun to have different plates to put on, so people can individualize their car even more.

The Plate is riveted. It has Some recesses on the plate which could be painted also.

Would you please explain the advantages of having a strut brace? How does it affect handling?

Also, will an intake cover still fit underneath it?

Hey Kevin, I have to say that it looks great. You mentioned that you might be stocking them. Just wanted to see if you are going to be able to, and how much they are going for. Thanks.

You said a mouthful KC!!! I really hate it when they do things like that. Oh well in a few more months maybe someone will likely have a strut tower brace that'll fit properly on a V-6.

Thanks for checking it out amigo!!!

kevin i would like one of those please. I will try and call you tommorrow, if you want to pm me the pricing and the number to get a hold of you, and I'll see what else I can afford to get at the same time. Take care.
P.S. Also is there any room under that for an intake cover at all? Always thinking in advance you know. LOL Thanks for any info kevin.

I got one today...it looks great! I know that's not the point, but after looking at Steeda's website for so long, I'm sick of their logo. Buying their stuff is like buying Tommy Hilfiger clothes...am I buying a shirt, or an opportunity to be a billboard for them?

steve? Does there seem to be a fair amount of room underneath the brace itself, for an intake cover etc? Mine should be here tuesday, just interested in how it turned out for you. Thanks for any info or pics.

There's no room for an intake cover...the clearance is pretty tight. I'll try to get some pics up soon.

What he said. I suppose it makes the front end stiffer, but can someone who knows more than me about these things perhaps supply a little more detailed explanation of how this works and the difference one would feel driving with it installed?

Thanks!
