Well I guess I will be emailing Ford Accessories again on a Catalog Error. The Cargo organizers which I ordered 3 months ago finally showed. I brought one home to take some pics but guess what I got the Shaker 1000 and it is not going to work with it! Anyway here is what it looks like. I got three for sale. They are Hard to get!

I was wondering about that one myself and was thinking about getting it, guess that scratches it off my list.

I was disappointed that there is no option for a cargo net. I guess all of us with the Shaker 1000 are out of luck!

Four milk crates work very well in my shaker 1000 trunk.

Me thinks these would be perfect.

Collapses nicely when you don't need the crate.

Yes, I have both the cargo net and the organizer. I think the organizer through the dealer I bought it from was $135 or so, not sure. It was part of the car purchase. Only problem I have with it is I tried to install it following the instructions, and didn't get the thread-sert thing in all the way because of the plastic. I'm going to have to do it again, with the plastic out of the way. I do like the design of it though. Gonna be great for carrying my detailing stuff to shows and such.

KC,

Just an update on my cargo organizer. I'm going to have my dealer install it when I bring in my car for it's first service. Should be within the next couple weeks as I have 2500 miles on it now. I tried installing the organizer myself but I can't get the screws to work. They just swim in the holes of the trunk lining. I must be having a serious brain fart. But the product IS top-notch and I highly recommend it and buy from Kevin!

blackhat97, there should have been a bag with a piece of metal with one dimpled hole on one end, a nut, a couple of long screws, and some brass rivets. The rivets are the threads that you need to get crimped into those holes, and the metal piece, screws, and nut are the tools they give you. I tried and missed getting mine crimped on right, so I went to True Value and got some Thread-serts (same thing, different design) but they didn't have the tool kit, so I tried to install those with the stuff Ford included in the organizer. That didn't work either, I ended up stripping them both. I later pulled the plastic panel off, and noticed that where those holes are, the metal is angled a little, so the screws are going to have to go in at an angle when it's all done. I need to find a tool kit for the threas-sert pieces I have, and try again. Someday. *sigh*

Thanks Jay! Yes I can clearly see in my mind the pieces you're referring to as I've worked with (er rather 'stared') at them for quite some time. All have been included with my organizer. The weather is cooperating today so I'll be able to try again after work being sure to keep in mind what you said. Good luck with your install too and I'll let you know how mine goes.
