Thanks KC!

The e-brake lever looks like it should fit! Better shaped but just a little shorter.

I am going around in my head how I may be able to modify the 05-09 center stack side trim panels to disguise the mismatch if the 2010 console is used. A complete new dash is just not a practical option. And neither is trading in on a 2010 with an ugly butt.

KC, any illustrations of the auto shifter yet?

Definitely into that auto shifter! Then I won't need to throw a paper bag over anymore when I leave the car.

What about seats? I'd like to replace my front seats with the 2010 ones with the silver stitching.

I asked about replacing the one on my 2007, because the emblem is corroded. I was told that they would need to replace the airbag assembly, as the emblem isn't available separately.

That should just be a cover, and not the entire assembly. Maybe KC can offer insight.

I was thinking of this thread. Specifically this post. Looks like from the pics it just plucks out. So if it's possible to buy the cap seperate, you should be able to swap it. In that thread he got a FRPP cap with the cobra on it as a seperate part.

KC, on the console are my eyes mistaking me or does it look like the top half is the same as ours? Looks like it could be an easy fit

Completely different. And the soft surround around the centerstack is injection molded as a part of the entire dashboard instead of being seperate hard plastic left and right pieces.

For those Curious about the New Sound Systems. It Does not Look Feasable at all. The Control Unit is Separate from Radio Unit. FYI!

Cool. Must be something not so obvious. I'd like to see info on the following:

Quarter Louvers as shown at the display.
The center emblem on the wheel.
The side mirrors.

The GT500 seats with the stripes would be great too. Hate to think how much they want for them though.

Oh and the GT500 shift **** looks pretty cool too except the 6spd.

I would also look for retrofit of the power window and door lock switches which will have the blue lighting.

So far we got hopes on:

Speaker covers with chrome rings
Door mirrors
Lighted sill plates
Chrome inside door handles
Shorter ebrake lever

The quarter window glass is the same as 05-09 so no surprise there about louvers fitting.

I'll bet that huge new hood scoop will fit flat on older hoods. It will certainly look better that way than stacked on top of the 2010 power dome.

The door handles are currently available from another model I believe. Taurus or Escape or something.

I'm mostly wondering on the louvers the cost and if they come pre-painted in 05-09 colors.

Randy, I'm already in contact with SVT about the possibility of the seats fitting. From what I can tell, the seats themselves (frame) are the same. Its just the leather and the foam padding are different. Should be an easy swap out. I WANT THOSE STRIPED SEATS!!!!
