2007 Shelby Hi-Tech High Speed Wiper Blades

UPDATE 07/31/2022
The Shelby Wiper Setup Part Numbers. The Blades are Available but the Arms are Obsolete so you would need to search for NOS or USED ARMS. From 07-09 Shelby Upgrades 05-09 Cars. Upon New Research I find the 2010-2014 Arms on All Mustangs are The Same as The 07-09 Shelbys. So Should Be Plenty of Used Arms Out There.

7R3Z-17528-AB R/S Pass. Blade 20" Replaced By AR3Z-17528-A
7R3Z-17528-BA L/S Driver Blade 22" Replaced By AR3Z-17528-B
7R3Z-17526-A R/S Arm
7R3Z-17527-A L/S Arm
NEW REFERENCE PICS BELOW

FYI

The 2007 Shelby GT-500 uses a High Tech Style Wiperblade Setup As Shown in the Pics. The Blades have a Flat Metal Strap with a Wedge or Spoiler Attached to it which at High Speeds Put More Downforce on the Blade for better Visability. These Will retro fit onto other 05up Mustangs but will require New wiper Arms. Be aware that Ford Sells Wiper Blades in Boxes of ten and Most dealerships will not want to order you just a Pair and Have 18 Blades lying around. Shelby Owners Also be aware when you need Some replacements your Local Dealer may not want to order yours either. Due to my internet sales I went ahead and took the Plunge to stock these! Plan Ahead and get a Set today! FYI these Due NOT FIT ANY OTHER FORD MODELS.

Enjoy,

Kc

The First Set is going on my GT/CS. I am Not very satisfied with the Current Wiper blade performance and believe these will be an improvement.

Old Wiper Arm Style Top, New On Bottom

Kevin, let me know how they turn out. The stock wipers are dangerously ineffective in strong dounpours. I was thinking about what my options are, does the gt500 have a faster high speed(Wiper speed, not car speed) setting as well?

It uses Same Motor Set up. A good Coating Of Rain X would only Improve Performance also.

For when you pull out of the car wash and have that 12 foot drive to the area where you dry your car...at least that's what I heard.

KC,
I believe they are/look like the Bosch Icon blades. I bought them for my 05 and had no problem installing them with no modification or new arms. If they arent the same then they look darn similar. And have similar features. Work a lot better than stock

Yes They Are Similar and Use the Same Basic Wedge Feature! Good Info!

But with the Gt-500 Arms & Blades I can Have Some Shelby Equipped Bragging Rights! LOL!

Just curious. What's different about the arms? More secure?

The way the blades attach to the arms is completely different. The GT 500 arms must be used.

bosch icons are sold as direct replacements for length to the length of the factory ones.

they are sold in different lengths, so just go to a store that carrys them and buy the lengths you need. then there is also an A and a B or something like that. one is a drivers side, one is a passenger side. the clerk at the parts counter will be able to tell you which is which. I am going to pick up a gt500 ones though

Rain-X Icon Knock-offs

Looks like Rain-X has some new blades that look suspiciously like the Bosch Icons.....http://www.rainx.com/
