I picked one of these up from Kevin and installed it today. It looks miles better than stock and goes with the other leather Premium Trim Package stuff quite nicely! I would rank the job as being of moderate difficulty, it takes a couple of hours to get it installed. You've got to remove the upper and lower console sections and jack up the car to get to the e-brake cables to disconnect the cables. The lower bolts on the e-brake assembly are tricky, but if you move the seat around you can get to them without actually removing the seat. It's pretty spendy for the minimal impact it has on the appearance of the interior, but I do like it a lot more than the stock foam grip. Plus now my car has a little bit of the Shelby in it

Looks great. I always hated the ugly stock handle

Thanks! I agree with you, the stock handle doesn't cut it. It's a shame the leather grip part can't be retrofitted rather than having to replace the entire assembly though, Ford really made it a difficult swap when it could have been a 5 minute job!

Dam it I wanted that handle but after hearing it's such a pita I think I'll just have a custom upholestery shop wrap mine in leather.

Thanks for the write up! I Think it Looks Great and will be on My List for MT GT/CS Mods! It's a Lot more Cost Effective Than The Interior Pak Shift Boot {pictured} as Long as you Do it yourself!

No problem!! The price is good considering that you are actually buying the entire brake assembly, but I meant its spendy considering it's really all just to have an upgraded handle grip. It is very cool though, it looks and also FEELS much better than stock. And on the manual tranny the brake gets a lot of use, so it's nice to have that extra tactile experience in there
