I picked one of these up from Kevin and installed it today. It looks miles better than stock and goes with the other leather Premium Trim Package stuff quite nicely! I would rank the job as being of moderate difficulty, it takes a couple of hours to get it installed. You've got to remove the upper and lower console sections and jack up the car to get to the e-brake cables to disconnect the cables. The lower bolts on the e-brake assembly are tricky, but if you move the seat around you can get to them without actually removing the seat. It's pretty spendy for the minimal impact it has on the appearance of the interior, but I do like it a lot more than the stock foam grip. Plus now my car has a little bit of the Shelby in it
Thanks! I agree with you, the stock handle doesn't cut it. It's a shame the leather grip part can't be retrofitted rather than having to replace the entire assembly though, Ford really made it a difficult swap when it could have been a 5 minute job!
