When will the terminator motor come back?

I was talking to my brother in law the other day about this, and we were thinking...Ford only used the 32 valve supercharged 4.6 for two years....and other that it being in the Land Rovers and Esperante GTLM...it didnt last very long or have a lot of use....so we figure it has to resurface....but where??

my two favorite ideas....

AWD SVT Fusion....thats right...the Fusion

or a factory GT350...much like the GT500 is from SVT, not shelby.

I doubt the fusion...
That'll be more for TwinForce
or SingleForce... or NoForce

That 4.6 4v won't fit in that bay...

Land Rover uses a Jaguar sourced V-8, even in their blown versions.

And it's a 4.2L not a 4.6L. It's most definitely not the Terminator mill.

You'd need to make the car about 2 feet wider

Just take a look at how the 3.0 AWD is stuffed in there.
You don't have room to fart

In a car, I'd say the chances are fat or slim - choose one or both, same thing. The Adrenalin was the best candidate. Or maybe some kind of Typhoon-ized Explorer.

so the terminator engine fits under the stock hood of a ford focus but not in a fusion... i find that hard to beleive.

I've seen a 5.0 in a Focus but I haven't seen a '03-'04 Cobra motor!!

I didn't even think that was possible.... that motor is NOT small.

So maybe it would fit, but seriously... find a pic of the Fusion AWD 3.0 and see what LITTLE room is under there...

I'll snap one this weekend at my 'rents place.

I think it would fit with a battery relocation.

also width shouldn't be a problem.

focus width 66.9" fusion 72.2"
