Simon from XFT in Perth, Western Australia, took his tuned FPV GS ute down the quarter a couple of nights ago.

Stock power with this ute is around 270rwkw but with tune-only (nothing else) it's up to 361rwkw so far, with more tuning to come. Anyway, 11.72 (1.83 -60') was the time but unfortunately the track timing recorded 139mph, which as you can tell, is an error. The guys are estimating the trap speed was maybe just over 125mph.

After running "139mph" he was booted off the track due to track rules (needs tailshaft loop, harnesses for those speeds), so, with more runs the e.t. would have improved, especially after it was babied off the line. Simon was gutted he couldn't get any more runs in, especially that it was blatantly obvious there was an error. Track must be run by GM Holden.

He'll be hiring the track soon so a better indication is coming.
