Sneak Peak of Jaguar XF or 2010 XJ?
Found this over on an MG-Rover site. It is a sneak peak at the Jaguar concept set to unveil at the NYIAS. Looks fantastic given what little of the car we can actually see. Given the other vehicles set to debut it would appear that the NYIAS is going to be big for FoMoCo.

yeah, i'm freakin' stoked about this one. Probably the car i'm looking forward to most at this upcoming auto show. I'm pretty sure its gotta be a concept version of the upcoming S-Type replacement, the XF. Anything replacing the XJ should wait, the S-Type needs attention right now, and we've already heard about an event a couple months back where dealers were given a preview of the next S-Type. I'm guessing this is what they saw. I'm totally down with the Aston-ish tail lights. And the hidden rear door latch. If its actually got door latches, that might mean this thing is pretty close to production ready. i think its supposed to be a 2008 model, so we should be getting something pretty soon.

I'm drooling just looking at the that small pic. I doubt it will be the XJ, probably more of the XF. I think Jags design has been going the right way. Look at the XK going somewaht retro. Great idea!

I agree with you on the lincoln one, BC, but i think you're being a bit to pessimistic on the subject of the Jaguar concept. First off, the little glimpse that photo offers shows a concept that isn't totally off the wall, like i said before, it actually has DOOR LATCHES!
And then look at the last significant concept from Jaguar, the Advanced Lightweight Coupe:
I think what we're gonna see is 90% of what will end up on the road in a year as the S-Type replacement.
As for that lincoln concept, and the interceptor... yeah, i'm skeptical. I wanna see concepts that can be on the market within a year!

Left Lane is back up for now, plus i downloaded all their pics, so if they go down again, let me know and i can send 'em to you. This looks f-in sweet! Its VERY coupish though, i was expecting something a little more on the sedan side of the four-door coupe thing, but this is a concept after all. C-XF probably just stands for Concept XF, so i'm guessing this is like the concept mustang GT was to the S197, but maybe even closer to the real thing this time. I love that tail, it looks like its got a cool new jaguar logo. Although the rear overhang almost looks a bit long, at least from the side. Its really tapered, from the top view it sorta goes to a point at the nose and the tail, so the overhangs really disappear when you look at it from an angle, but something about the tail still looks pretty long. Maybe its the roofline, i think i'd prefer more of a sedan-ish roofline, rather than such a long gradual slope. Overall, i'm really excited about this though. Can't wait to see the production version, i think it'll do well for jaguar.

I'm hoping this is to the XF what the ALC was to the XK-a near spitting-image. Jag needs something bold and exciting alongside its sleek and sexy XFs, tis looks like the ticket to me.
