Today for my birthday, my manager took me for a ride in an 05 GT. We pulled off the lot and he shifted into second and floored it. BAM!! 110 MPH and climbing fast. He then slowed down to about 45 and took a sharp corner. The thing handled like it was on rails. Then he said hold your head back and firm... before I could ask why he started slaloming down an empty road. Not a squeal from the tires whatsoever just solid handling and jaw dropping power. I liken it to taking off in a jet plane. Its so smooth yet such raw unrelenting power.

THIS CAR IS WORTH EVERY PENNY AND MORE!!!

To all of you who have not had the oppurtunity to ride in one and have the ability to do so I suggest you do!

You can't ask for a better birthday present, than to be tossed around in a GT!

Hey Andy, happy belated birthday. Glad you finally got to go for a ride in that car. The Ford GT is THE BEST bang for the buck supercar ever made, PERIOD!!!. Coicendentally, our dealer took our out of the showroom to take to a prospective client. He is a friend of mine who recently sold his original GT40 chassis # 103. We let him drive it, and he was impressed. Told the dealer to leave it out, as I wanted to take it for a spin. Needless to say, that was the best 25 minutes of my automotive life. What an easy car to drive. Congrats again on your birthday. What a present. Talk to you later

Jeff

That's awesome! I'd be willing to drive to PA if you'd let me take it for a spin.

Thanks guys!!! The rest of my day was awesome too. My wife went overboard with presents... I was speechless.

Then she cooked me filet mignon, lobster tail and muscles for dinner!

God what a wife!

Thanks again for all of the birthday wishes guys! I really appreciate it from the bottom of my heart!

Jeff,
I'll try to give you a call this weekend

GhostTX, I wish I could help you out on that, but probably unlikely. I got to drive it a few times due to some major medical issues (liver transplant) that kept me out of work for several months, while the car was in the process of being ordered & built. The owner of the dealership knew I loved that car more than anyone there, and he also knew how close I was to not making it (in terms of health). I'm sure you'll get a chance in one sooner or later.
