The Real History Of John Dillinger And Henry Ford

http://jalopnik.com/5531311/the-real...and-henry-ford

Notorious gangster John Dillinger's thank you letter to Henry Ford for making a great getaway car's widely considered to be a hoax. It isn't, but Ford covered up the real letter, likely parading a forgery for decades.

ha! awesome lol. I remember the special about Dillinger on the history channel aand the letter was mentioned. Its nice to know that even though the one the reported was fake, there was a real one conveying pretty much the same message.

I also remember that Ford was pretty PO'd about the whole mess. sweet article

I always thought it was Clyde Barrow (from Bonnie & Clyde) that wrote a letter to Henry Ford.
