Production Fiesta Sedan

Chinese-spec front end, we're still supposedly getting a slightly bigger grille. Otherwise this is what we'll get.

LL also says that we may get BOTH the 3-door and 5-door hatches here in addition to the sedan, which would be a very good move imo:nice:

+1 I don't want ford to use red, they have always used green and then blue recently on the newer focus.

Good looking little ride . . .

Blue Notch 11/18/08 01:33 PM

It looks like some kinda little bug or something. :wonder: No thank you.

Yeah but if you compare it to other cars in its class you will see the appeal of it. Of course to a mustang or something I would have to say no thank you. But i think it is definatly a segment winner!

Blue Notch 11/18/08 03:11 PM

What's so hard about making small cars look good? :wonder:

Knight 11/18/08 03:21 PM

How would you change the car to look better without changing the efficency of it?

You can't change the propotions for style cuase you add weight, same as adding larger wheels... so for what you can do i think it is done very well.

But would still like to hear what you think they could have done.

Blue Notch 11/18/08 03:24 PM

I really have no idea. I just don't like the roundness of cars nowadays, and how tall and narrow they look. :dunno:

Zastava_101 11/18/08 03:52 PM

As much as I like Fiest hatchback ... I think sedan is really ugly.

rhumb 11/18/08 04:13 PM

Sedans profile and rear are nice, if a touch generic. It's the 3 and 5 door hatchbacks that really bring this car alive, but Ford still seems stuck in that "American's won't buy a hatchback hooey." They will buy a hatchback, if it's a decent hatchback (look at all those GTIs, Minis, Audi A3s, etc that are selling just fine).

They're bringing the hatch as well, but there are Americans who won't even consider them (my parents are two), and that is who the Sedan is for.

Lalo 11/18/08 07:31 PM

looking for a hatch!

Only if I need to :puke:

I really cannot stand most Honda "styling". S2000 is the exception. Double goes for Acura.

edumspeed 11/23/08 12:10 PM

The hatch looks better imo.

+1......

I wish the rear was as stylish as the front, but I think I like the Sedan better overall.....the rear is just pretty bland.

:agree:
Or unless it weighs over 2 Tons and has an SUV label or Minivan Label slapped on it.

I Love the 3 Door Hatch, just like the one below. If fuel prices get back like they were I'd Really Consider One. I think it's Much Better Looking than any of the Import Econo Hatches. Heck I've been looking for a 2004 first gen. SVT Focus because of the Gas Prices this past summer.

The 5 Door isn't bad either. Better than the Sedan in My Opinion.

Love the exterior, but upon closer inspection, when you see the interior under the "ugly lights" (daylight), it looks like it was made from recycled plastic milk cartons.

Oh well, still looks better than Fit or Echo, that's for sure.
