That looks like crap.
Ford needs to let the team that works on the full size trucks design the new Ranger !!
.
I admit it's a little over the top. I prefer the more simple look of the original. But I really like the idea of a smaller Ford truck re-emerging. The Colorado is decent looking, but I still can't justify giving my money to a bailout company.
I have always hoped they would bring the ranger back. The first car I bought was an '88 Ford Ranger. Even though it had a bad 3rd gear.. I loooved that truck!!!
This looks alot like like it except mine was midnight blue....
I like the global ranger design. But I also don't think it will be the same as the global ranger. They said along time ago that the global ranger would have to be priced way to close to the f-150 to be profitable. So unless something major has changed. It would have to be different than the global ranger.
As for a Bronco return. Until I see it on lots I won't believe it. Folks have been saying that for years.
I would LOVE a Bronco if it looked good and had a nice big V8 in it to help power all that weight. And of course, make it 4X4 for those nasty New England winters we hate so much in the Northeast.
Make it tough looking like the Raptor. I would be very interested in that.

I'd love to see Ford go back to the original Bronco concept like in the 60's...bare bones, rugged, no bullsh!t...like the Toyota Land Cruiser.
Might they build a Bronco on a shortened Raptor platform? I'm guessing the success of the Raptor is causing for the brainstorm about other performance 4x4 models, and appears (at least on the surface) to be a no-brainer. Now that energy costs seem to have leveled out they should go for it. I've always thought Jeeps were cool, but would 100% get a new Bronco over a new Jeep if it was offered.
