To be honest, I would rather have a reliable car that's boring than fun to drive lemon. I'm not saying that my Focus was a lemon, but it still had some issues. Toyotas might be boring, but out of all cars that I've owned I've spent the least amount of money on the Camry (I bought it when it was 9 years old, with 90,000 miles, for $5,300) and it was still the most reliable car that I've ever owned.

I'm still looking for the replacement for Focus, but in the meantime I picked up this almost loaded 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT V6.
There is still few things that they had to do, so I left the car there overnight; here is a pic from dealership's website.

Its actually a car for my wife ... Eclipse is too big for me; in addition, its rated at only 16 mpg city and being a GT V6 requires a premium fuel.

Its gonna be her daily driver for now since we just bought it, but later on its gonna be more of a weekend toy, since she has the Fusion as a daily driver.
I'm just glad we finally found a car for her because she's very picky. Her choice came between the VW Beetle convertible and Eclipse (I don't like either one) and somehow Eclipse won because they're usually in a much better conditions than Beetles from the similar time period.

So we had the Eclipse for about a week now ... and my wife managed to crash it last night ... into our house ...
I can't believe I sold my F-150 to purchase the Eclipse and than a week later it ends up crashed into the house.

Sounds like some real bad luck goinon there but keep your head up! Now you can use this as a reason to have your wife help you into a Shelby or Boss

Yesterday was a really crappy day ... First I found out that my dad will need a surgery due to chest pain (doctors keep saying its a minor procedure, but I'm still scared to death) and then my wife crashes a car into the house at the end of the day ...

Thanks. I left it at the body shop last night, I'm still waiting for the phone call to let us know how much its gonna cost to fix it, but it's not gonna be cheap. Front bumper, hood, passenger side front fender, headlight ... it will all have to be replaced. I don't think there is any engine damage, I drove the car yesterday to the body shop and it drove fine.
