MKT spied - Says TWINFORCE
MKT spied testing, including an open hood shot! And the engine cover has the letters TF molded on it. Judging by the two big pipes for the turbos visible, it looks like Lincoln keeps the "Twinforce" moniker for its GTDI engines. Also an outside shot that "EB" is the boosted engine line as a whole and "TF" is specific to the twin-turbo, we'll see.

I hear you but hp is not just hp anymore. The difference in torque production between even a 340hp TF 3.5L and Hyundai's luxo-car spec, n/a 4.6L V8 will be well and truly massive....particularly down low.

Maybe Ford realized that labeling Lincoln engines "Ecoboost" sounded gay. Even they seem to understand that Twin Force sounds much more compelling.
Perhaps the intention was always to reserve that name for Lincoln. Not a bad idea.
