I'm putting my 2001 V6 Mustang up for sale, and I've got my eye on a 2002 V8 Explorer Sport. I've only seen it in pictures so far from the dealership website, but I'm going to be checking it out in person hopefully tomorrow or Wednesday. Have any of you guys ever had an experience with this model Explorer? Or heard anything positive or negative about it? My family has had excellent luck with the previous generation Explorers, so I'm hoping this car, if I get it, would fair just as well.

 

I have an 02 Sport with 56K miles. No problems at all. Only oil and filter changes, and one recall on the rear glass hatch.
