I can hardly contain my excitement!
Actually, perhaps I shouldn't be so cynical. The Focus is an excellent base........but I hope Lincolns version looks nothing like it, inside or out.

Our spy photographers have just sent us the first ever pictures of Lincoln's long-rumored Ford Focus-based compact luxury sedan.
The yet un-named Focus-based Lincoln is clearly still in the early development phase, with the car sporting a collection of Focus and prototype parts. However, a closer look at the car's camouflaged front ends reveals this isn't just an update for the current Focus.

So far I have't seen any evidence or comments from insiders to back up the idea that it's a Linc. One of the more interesting theories put forward on BON is that it's an old Tracer prototype (from before Merc's death) being used for mule duty.
