Curious to see what exactly they did to get there. Hopefully it'll be a tune and a CAI and maybe some injectors. We'll see.

It'll be stock for now till the aftermarket gets something established. This will be my DD after all. Can't go to wild.

Ah ok. So you're getting the 6.2 right? What color?

6.2L in the Orange with the black and orange interior.

I've already got the black car and the wife has a black SUV, so I wanted something different. People should see me coming in the Orange.

I take it you have spots around you where you can get out there and really put this truck to "use"

That'll look great! As long as only your wife calls you 'punkin'...

PS: You probably saw these cutaway pics of the motor:

Thanks. We've got some undeveloped acreage (100 acres) that we own down the street from my house that has dirt roads and mud holes. Basically old cow pastures. I could drive through it on the way home each day if I wanted too. It's nice and muddy now. Only thing we don't have around here is desert. That's gonna take a road trip.

I hope it looks good. Kind of a little worried about being a brand new motor guinea pig. But I'm trusting Ford knows what they are doing. Any other manufacturer and I'd wait a year or two. Same goes with the 5.0 I guess for the Mustang guys.

I'm keeping the white. But where the tan used to be on the rockers and on the shell, I'm gonna paint those with line-x bed liner in black. Go with black tint, black line-x painted bumpers and paint the spare holder too. Then its headlights with clear corners and some black wheels with a machined lip and I'm good to go.

the orange is a fantastic color. It's got more flake in it than a box of kelloggs

With all this freaking snow in the northeast, a Raptor would've been a blast. Crap, now another contender for my next purchase. Although, if I got one it would guarantee no snow for a while. Still awesome though. Can't wait to see the 6.2 tested!

While this is a SICK truck, whoever will be the sorry individual who will give this crook his new Raptor to be worked on and probably won't see it for almost a year, I will feel sorry for!!!

Wow 11-15k for something any of us could do to our own raptor with a 5.4L for about 6-7k. Oh I forgot the dash plaque was 3k.
