You may recall that HTT was Chief Engineer of the 2005 Mustang and head of SVT for a time after Coletti's retirement in 2004. He's been head of product development for Ford's South American operations for the past couple years, but now he's getting a rather big promotion.

Also of note is that Barb Samardvich, who as VP for Powertrain Engineering has had a big hand in the new engines and transmissions we've seen of late, is now VP for Global Product Programs and thus HTT's new boss. So two of the top people designing new global platforms, engines, etc for Ford are sporting pretty nice Pistonhead resumes.
