Two cool things mentioned in that article:
1st: "And coming in the years ahead will be an all-wheel-drive Fusion, a hybrid gasoline-electric Fusion, and -- be still my heart -- a Ford Special Vehicle Team Fusion that, like all SVT products, will probably be a road monster."
He might not know anymore than us, but maybe this guy has heard that the SVT fusion is a definite plan.
2nd: "There will also be several models of the Fusion on display at November's Special Equipment Marketing Assn. annual convention. These will be hot, customized, tuned cars meant to show just how far a buyer could take his or her Fusion down the creative highway."
can't wait for SEMA fusions!

i have sat in this car and have to say, it is probably the best looking car ive ever seen ford produce. the interior is perfect. i searched for something to complain about and only found that being 6'2" I felt just a wee bit crunched in the back seat. Believe me, I really had to search. Id be very happy in the back seat for a few hours atleast.
