Freelander Based Land Rover LRX

I'll bet this will end up wearing Range Rover on the hood if/when it makes production. In fact, while Motor Trend is usually about as reliable as a 20 year old Lada I'm beginning to wonder if their info that Land Rover will soon be reconfiguring their more mainstream wagon lineup into a soprt of Range Rover badged brand within a brand, saving the storied Land Rover moniker for more hardcore vehicles like the Defender, doesn't have some merit. This sure looks like a Range Rover to me.

I like it except for the tapered roof. Tapered roofs irk me to no end, especially with a high beltline in the rear. That's my beef with the Magnum as well.

On shorter vehicles the taper works, on the application its not too bad. On the mag it looks horrible because it's as long as a bus.

Oh, and great Av, Capri. Love that cartoon.

Good point. On smaller cars a tapered roof isn't as bad. The V50 and V70 have tapered roofs and I quite like both.

And thanks on the avatar compliment. One of my favorite 'toons as well.
