Alright, seeing as how in other forums people are getting all jittery over Daimler's SRT line, here's my ideas of some things ford could do to ease the fears
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ford Fusion GT (AWD) [6spd Auto, 6spd Manual] *IRS*

HO 3.5l V6
275hp 240 tq

SVT Fusion (AWD) [6spd Manual) *IRS*
T/C 3.5l V6

330hp 290 tq

--------------

Ford Focus RX (AWD, FWD) [5spd Manual, 5spd Auto] *IRS*

S/C 2.5l 1-4
225 hp 200 tq

SVT Ford Focus (AWD) [6spd Manual] *IRS*

T/C 3.5l v6
330hp 290tq

FORD FOCUS R (Rwd) [6spd Manual] *IRS*

Detuned 5.0l v8
345 hp 390 tq
No rear seats, sound insolation, etc.

-----------------------------------------------

Ford Mustang BOSS 302 (Rwd) [5spd Manual] *IRS or SRA*

5.0l V8
400 hp 400 tq

Ford Mustang Mach 1 (RWD) [5spd Manual] (SRA)

H.O 4.6l V8 w/ Shaker
385 hp 495 tq

Ford Mustang Cobra R

Supercharged 5.0l V8 (AWD) [6spd Manual] (IRS)

600hp 550 tq

the usual R set up......this would be..like..UBER stang
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Crown Victoria Blackhawk (RWD) [5spd Auto/CVT] (IRS)

4.6l HO 4V V8

360 hp 350tq

the 300C won't know what hit it.
----------------------------------------------------------
SVT Ford F150 Lightning (AWD) [6spd Manual] (IRS)

S/C 5.4l V8
490hp 480tq
-----------------------------------------------------------

more to come

You have some pretty good ideas there Matt. Some of them may come true in the near future.

I would love to see a new Lightning but I think from what I hear Ford has passed that torch to Roush and Saleen, although I am with you on seeing a new one.

I think the Ford I would love to see the most right now is an FPV Falcon GT-P or F6 Typhoon over here.

Thanks, Andy. Out of all those, I really just wanna see a Crown Victoria that can haul, and kick some major hiney instead of our current 240 hp wonder

That Lightning would be cool, but I wanna SuperCrew, not RegularCab.

If they could sell that SVT Focus for around $28k I would rock it. Especially if I had $28k to spend.

The Crown Vic idea won't work. Mercury already tried that idea and it didn't work.

-An SVT Fusion would be nice. Throw in DI from Mazda and you will gain even more power. MB add Direct injection to a N/A V6 and gained 20 crank hp.

- Instead of your Focus ideas, all Ford has to do is simply bring the Euro Focus to the US. The ST model gets great reviews in Europe.

-I don't see a AWD Mustang, especially in the "R". It will be way too HEAVY.

-I'd love to see the SVT Adrenaline instead of the Lightening. That was a really great vehicle.

-The Ranger needs to be scrapped. It's old and has been left to whither. Get rid of it!
