Liked seeing the "Made In USA" and "FoMoCo" on the case. So, was the Mustang's new 6-speed auto designed along similar lines or does it include similar features?

 

The Mustang's new auto is essentially the same 6-speed in the Raptor, with gearing for a road car instead of a Baja truck. The Heavy Duty trans is just that, heavy. Unless they decide to stick the Scorpion V8 in a Mustang, there's no need to put that heavy trans in.

and not to hijack, but did i miss the memo of 6 speed autos for the stang? it could be that i havent slept a full nights sleep in weeks, but just wondering..
