Ford's January sales

Ford Motor Company reported a healthy 21.8-percent sales gain last month versus to January 2012, almost entirely on the back of the Ford brand. The Lincoln Motor Company, meanwhile, continued to disappoint and sold fewer overall units that Ford sold Fiestas.

i dunno about you guys, but I am tired of the fish face Fusion already. I wanted to like it more than the last model but I don't. The headlights are too thin to match the grill and the nose is too high in the air... Ford did the front end right in the focus St and fiesta since the headlights are larger and the nose is tucked down more...

I'm not sure why they think they have to shape every car in the line up with a similar front/grill - as if thats the only way a customer would know that its a Ford. Geez. Since when do we make every car in the brand follow the same theme??

And what's with the entire industry having to make the front of their cars look 'mean'?? I'm not a mean person and I don't want to drive up and have people think I'm mean - or driving a cartoon character.

As for the trucks the problem is that those in your face grills don't look part of any design at all. It looks like they built the truck, were loading it on the transport and said 'oops - we forgot a grill - lets just bolt this on the front and call it good!'.

I don't think Ford designers are as top rate as they think they are. IMO

I still find the front of the fusion quite appealing. Tops in the midsize segment by a large margin.
