I believe the impending refresh is one of the things making 500 sales worse. People who might have bought a 500 are holding off to get the better engine and styling.

I don't think that's it...

I walked by a Milan, and checked it out for a while, inside and outside, and that is one beautiful car!

I do. Certainly, the current bland styling is keeping people away but, like I said, the refresh is holding even more people back from buying.

Lincoln really need more cars. Cadillac is outselling them 2:1, Lexus is outselling them almost 3:1.

Finally some good news on the sales front! Hopefully they keep it going and cars sales will keep growing, and truck sales will at least remain stable.

I really think the press harping on the the 500's styling and horsepower rating has had a negative affect on sales. It's not supposed to be a Chrylser 300 clone; it's supposed to be a conservative sedan for the people who are in the market for that type of car... Hopefully the coming improvements will help...

I totally agree that the bad press has hurt 500 sales. For most people looking to buy that car, the DT30 has more than enough power but because all the car mags (read LOVE IMPORTS) have trashed the 500 people immediately won't even check it out. I sure wish more people in America would NOT listen to biased reviews and try things out for themselves before making a buying decision.
