The "base" model FPV Falcon F6 will be powered by a freshly updated turbocharged 4.0L inline six. The revised powerplant outputs a healthy 416 horsepower and 417 lb-ft of torque, representing a 54 horsepower gain over the previous turbo six. Other FPV Falcons — the GT E, GT-P and GT sedans and the Super Pursuit and Pursuit Ute — will do with a 5.4L BOSS V8, good for 422 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. Interestingly, the inline six makes its 417 lb-ft of torque at a low 1,950 rpm while the V8 needs to spool up to 4,750 rpm in order to wring out its 406 lb-ft or torque.
Moreover, preliminary reports from Australia say that the FPV Falcon F6 will hit 60 from a standstill in 5.1 seconds clock the quarter mile in 13.4 seconds — both marks eclipsing the Pontiac G8 GT sold here (Holden Commodore in Australia).

That I6 can prob be supped up so easy. prob a real stout rotating assembly, I6 balance....ahh... crank up the boost and bet 1000+hp is not outta reach.
