Ford regains #2 US sales spot from Toyota in August
Here's the article. Truck/SUV sales are still tanking but Ford's cars are doing well enough to partially offset it. It's interesting that Ford was able to regain the #2 spot while still seeing a 12% drop in sales.

How was Ford able to regain #2 in Aug if they sold less cars than Toyota in Aug?
Mathmatically they must have regained #2 a while ago. In July totals would have been Ford 1673127 and Toyota 1465368

If its just for year to date, Ford was ahead of Toyota in July too, but everyone said that Toyota outsold Ford.
