Ford Motor Company...

It seems that they're losing their competitive edge and are really slipping...could we see them go down under in the future???

No
Their overseas sales are fine and they will prop up and cut back the US operations until they reach a profit.

Not for nothing but why post this? There are plenty of "doom and gloom" stories that actually try and prove what they are stating with sales numbers. Not attacking you but this comment seems like a ploy to start a flame war, as we all argue over something that we have no control over.

If they dropped all their product lines except the Mustang vehicles and the F150 they would be fine.

Oops...yes being a copper I should not have left out the Crown Victoria.

Ford is going to do fine. What I'd like to see though is all the big three do like GM (sorry this is a great idea whether you like GM or not) is doing with the Camaro and get input from us on what we want in our cars. They made a focus group comprised of 15 people most of which have their own website. They are all at the testing grounds right now and all get to drive a critique the new Camaros. They have also been having a Q&A session where these members are giving them all our requests etc. The guy from one of my other forums was one of the ones picked and he brought a whole list from everyone on our board on what we want/don/t want to see.

I don't think Ford is in any serious trouble but a session like this about future vehicles would definately help sell as you will be heard on what you would like to see in the next Mustang.
