A couple of things made me chuckle with that article, mainly that is was voted on by Readers Digest subscribers. The only subscribers to that magazine I know are in their sixties and do not have the patience to read a full book, and prefer the abridged ones!

The other thing is the comments at the bottom. You really want the Mondeo and focus we have here? Kiss goodbye to enjoying driving, the things are just plain boring. It is all very well having economy, but I would tather pay a little extra for my commute and have a little fun!

James,

I think when most of us ignorant 'Maricans say we want the Euro Focus, we're seldom referring to the average economy cars. Most folk think every Focus in Europe looks like this:

or this

alright, alright. SO there is the new one, but in normal trim, it still doesn't look like the ST!

About your remark about "normal trim" James, I think the fact that you all have something other than said normal trim, is what makes us overe here green with envy

Just arguing for the sake of arguing at this point

even though the cars exterior look close to ours...the chassis is a lot better on the euro focus.

The chassis is identical as far as I know. Softer suspension on the US version, but the chassis is the same

No the US focus uses the original late 90's chassis, while the euro model uses the Mazda 3 platform.
