Ford Letter To Employees: "How Do You Feel?"

I think someone else said it best: "Instead of asking workers about how they feel, why not do things that will make them feel better?" Otherwise, we may see more suicides from talented people within the company who have had their souls crushed.
Lest there be any doubt whatsoever at the serpentine stresses going on within the company right now >>
An epic battle between talented guys like the aforementioned, and the "marketing & finance" dinosaurs struggling to hold on to power, seems to be underway right now. Jeff Sander's death shouldn't be in vain, and at the risk of making a posthumous appeal, here's hoping Alan Mulally can slay some of those Pleistocene dragons.
Maybe Mulally can begin by asking Mark Fields how he'd "feel" about being let go.

I moved to greener pastures. Jeff joined Ford. He told me that somewhere between "Quality is Job 1" and "Bold Moves," FoMoCo’s corporate design department had turned "teamwork" into a dirty word. I learned the personal struggles and political consequences of design rework. As Jeff put it "You want to know why cars look like ****? The designers are usually the last to touch the product."
Jeff’s visits back to The Lone Star State were filled with laments about the cutthroat, a$$-kissing environment and inflated rock-star personalities inside Ford’s design studios.

Well Fields inheried the same problems that he both and Mulally are facing now...the last of the old guard stuff is coming out and the Flex is the first product done since Fields took over...
