Ford Ka in the Buff.

Pics of the upcoming Ka have been released by the German magazine Autobild. We've effectively seen this car before as there is an earlier thread created containing a leaked pic by Autobild which was somewhat fuzzie. At that time the possibility that the earlier pic was a chop seemed very good, but as we can know see it was accurate.

If the price is low enough I could see Ford bringing this to America as a 'youth' car targeted at younger drivers with less money.

The KA ST will be certainly interesting, when developped by Jost Capito. Drove with him in a Fiesta ST around the Ring and he could outperform the prototype of the Focus ST, that was initially done by another group within Ford.
Noticed the new Mondeo 2012?

I see these all the time in San Diego. They're all driven by people from Baja/Mexico. I'll take some pics next time I see one.

Great effin commercials I love em. I hope that American ads can be that "rough around the edges"

What's up with no-grille thing? Reminds me of the original Taurus.

there are some lower openings. I guess those count as grills. I kinda like the original taurus look.

I like this car. What are the powerplant choices? Definitely decent looking for an MPGer.

See a bunch of these in Europe too -- just got back from a trip to Italy -- and they're stylish little things, rolling refutations of the Detroit idea that econoboxes necessarily equate to penalty boxes. These would make great city cars here if Ford NA had the brains and foresight enough to flesh out the smaller end of their product line now that you can't give away the gas swilling SUV and pickup truck barges at the Rubenesque end of their line. I suspect Ford's Detroit suits are having a hard enough time choking down the idea of even bringing the Fiesta over here, probably thinking of how to add on some gaudy chrome trim and vinyl roof to make it look like a "real" car.

Sidebar: saw a gazillion Smartcars over their too, seem to be quickly replacing the ubiquitous Fiat 500 as Rome's de facto official city car.

Wow! That decapitated cat one is pretty harsh, and I'm not even a "cat person".
