Very cool! I want one!!!
One part of the article I found interesting:
Why can't Ford bring more of this "driving excitement" into their US line of cars?
One part of the article I found interesting:
In fact that's really the whole point here. Fords are already exciting to drive. Better than many of the admired 'premium' brands. Even as it hobbles into its last year of life, the Mondeo is more fun than a brand-new equivalent Audi A4. So from now on Ford wants to do visual excitement like it does down-the-road excitement.

Man that car is awesome, the interior fits it in a weird way. Sometimes you just gotta let loose, it's very broad and serious, but the interior would make a pretty cool cockpit experience.
Now where's the line to get one.

this will never make it to production, it is just a showcase for the designers, although they should be borrowing some of the design cues for the next gen Mondeo.
Also, if I didn't know better, I would say that car is loosely based on the RX-8. Thoughts?

wow! i'd say this is the nicest looking ford concept i've ever seen. i like it better than the GR-1, maybe even the mustang... its just good looking and i don't see a bad side to it. I definitely see the RX-8 you're talking about, james. like, the fender, headlight, snout thing its got going on. i love it.
Oof, could you imagine that thing with the mustang engine, exhaust note and all. That'd be bloody hot. I say they should just bolt on some regular doors and market it, even if they branded it a lincoln or something.

Now that is a Concept! Amazing... Can't wait to see some of the design cues implemented in future cars. Although, they should just produce this baby and watch the money rack in!

really? i mean aside from the front fender reverse C-scoop i dont really see that much of a resemblance...
and i didnt even notice that until you guys mentioned the RX-8 part. maybe im jsut weird...
to me it looks too beefy to be RX-8ified

the RX8 is shorter and thinner. if the RX-8 ate (heehee) BK for about 4 months non stop, it might be beefy(heehee) enough to look more similar
i get what you guys are saying, and i see what you see as the resemblence, i just dont think its all that close.
the RX-8 is more pointed ish also.
