Ford Having Trouble Finding Volvo Buyers.

I am still inclined to think that both Renault and BMW are likely to be very interested in the brand despite the info conveyed in the link above. The question is, what are they willing to pay?

I highly doubt you'll see BMW interested in Volvo. They've said more than once that they aren't interested in buying other vehicle manufacturers.

Why lower the price? At a lower sale price it would make more sense just to hold their stake and hope they can get Volvo back in the black (or hold on until they need another emergency cash infusion).

Few in this sector are doing any buying right now. The lack of interest in Volvo shouldn't be taken as a barometer of the brand's desirability...or lack thereof.

right it's just the economy, not the quality or the vehicles
